My husband and I hired Josh Dukes for our wedding at Cornerstone on September 14, and I could not have been happier!!!
We both love music, and growing up as a dancer and knowing our two families like to dance…. we needed a DJ who could keep the crowd pumped and moving all night. No cheesy music, no annoying interruptions, he was perfect!
He has an online planning form and also schedules time to chat with you about the vibe and style you have. He allowed us to make lists for different points in the evening of “must hears” and of course.. the do not play! Not a single song played that made me or my husband go “huh?”.
Everything went smoothly, and tons of our guests have mentioned him when talking about the wedding. How he blended in the background and didn’t make it about him, no obnoxious shout outs, and most importantly… no bad songs!!! Everyone was saying he was one of the best wedding DJs they’d ever heard. I was seriously sore the next day from dancing so much.
Even my grandfather, who is 87 and generally very tired, danced the ENTIRE TIME. He said it was one of the best nights he ever had, which warmed my heart.
If you want a DJ who plays enough popular music to keep the general crowds content and moving but not the cliche wedding songs, while also mixing in some of your personal favorites, he’s your man!!!!
