We knew Josh was the perfect DJ for us when we came across an article on DailyCandy about him and his company “Boutique DJs.” That article led us to his website, where he gave tips and tricks on creating the ultimate wedding celebration. This particular tip said it all – “Ask grandma what she danced to at her wedding…always a sweet gesture to add that song to your list of must plays.” That got us hooked (someone who knew how to create a fun party atmosphere but simultaneously knew not to neglect the most important people…family). Upon reading this (and after chatting with him on the phone), we immediately hired Josh as our DJ for our July 13th, 2013 wedding at Solage Resort.
We cannot say ENOUGH good things about Josh. He is incredibly talented, he loves what he does and his positive attitude just fills a room. He managed to keep our dance floor going all night long (our guests were still dancing their butts off until midnight and we would have continued had our venue allowed us to)!
Josh was perfect for us in so many ways – he was fun, laid back, not cheesy in any way, effortless, and he created an atmosphere where each guest (of all ages) felt comfortable on the dance floor. He knows how to read the crowd and give them exactly what they want to keep them out there on the floor. WE LOVED THAT ABOUT HIM!
Not only that, but he was soooooooooooooo accommodating in every way we wanted or could have imagined! We were still making changes to some of our details up until the day before our wedding and Josh easily executed on said changes. Nothing seems to ruffle his feathers!! He is a true delight!
We had so much fun with Josh during our planning process and on the actual wedding day that we wanted him to come and hang out with all of us at the after party. He really was such an integral part of our celebration and he truly made our wedding an absolute success. It really was a celebration on every level and we cannot thank him enough for making it one of the best nights of our lives!
